one day i will run my fingers through your hair
listen to your voice through in a hollow tone
as i hold my head close to ur chest
hold you close to my own body
hold you in sadness of what ailes me
hold you when you are ailing
hold you in fear of what scares me
hold you in loving affection
hold you so tight and close
as we fall asleep in one another's arms
one day we will be us
we will be them
we will be together
i cant wait for one day
but i must, in order for it to be perfect
it will age like a sweet fine wine
our love has just begun,
it shall blossum as it must
i will be there in your bed when u awaken
and at night when all is cold and dark
i will hold you tight and close til the day ends
into the next day, and this cycle will go on
i find that the safest place is with you
one day is what i wait for, hopefully soon
